The purpose was to streamline a traditionally inefficient design process by providing an easy and modern online service.

Needs and Requirements

The platform needed a personalized onboarding system that can capture important project data from clients. It also required a robust designer marketplace, offering search and filter functionalities.

A centralized dashboard was needed to aid communication between clients and designers. Also, it was needed to support subscription plans with a variety of engaging features.

User-centric innovations like AI-matching and mobile accessibility were also key requirements to enhance the overall user experience.

Challenges

One major challenge was helping designers gain visibility and connect with new clients, who had unique style and budgetary requirements. The availability of fragmented design inspiration resources was also a challenge, needing to be fixed.

Another obstacle was accessibility for budget-conscious clients who struggled to find suitable designers. Also, it was important to build an efficient system to match clients with the right designers.

Process & Communication

The development started with building buyer and seller portals, then they developed the front and back-end features. Mobile App integration and Super Admin tools came after.

User-centric features, like AI-matching algorithms, were added iteratively based on feedback and progress. The phased approach allowed them to focus on key functionalities first.
